Sound Quality

We all know that sound quality is a major concern for a headset. How would its bass response, treble, mid, and overall sound? Especially, when we consider buying a new pair of headphones on a budget — Here are my answers!

For under $50 budget or even lower, I guarantee this Beribes headphone sound is superb, and balanced armor that everyone can enjoy, and the most important thing is their bass response is noticeably impressive for this budget and somewhat better than a few $50 headphones I’ve tested where this headset price is nearly half of this. So I highly recommend it for this budget.

Design & Comfort

I am not too worried about the design, as it can vary from person to person. However, it is important to identify whether it will be comfortable or not, right?

In that case, it is a comfortable headset to wear and can be listened to continuously for 2-3 hours without any discomfort under any conditions.

Overall, its soft padded ear cups and adjustable headband contribute to a smooth listening experience, making them perfect for extended listening sessions. And, they are lightweight, which increases comfort during long periods of use.

Noise Cancellation

There is no noise-cancellation feature on the BERIBES WH202A Bluetooth headset. However, if noise cancellation is required then you can consider their upgraded BEWH305B model headset which has active noise cancellation at the same price.

Still, you can consider the WH202A model as it has good earcup fitting which provides great passive noise-cancellation while listening.

Build Quality & Durability

It has a sturdy build, often with plastic and faux leather materials. The design is usually minimalist and practical. However, it may not be ideal for long-term use, as it may be prone to damage if dropped frequently.

Controls & Microphone

Like other normal headsets, it also has intuitive controls on the ear cups for adjusting volume, skipping tracks and answering calls. The buttons are generally responsive and relatively easy to use, but it doesn’t have an active noise-canceling button!

It has a built-in microphone that allows for hands-free calling. But, call quality is poor and I do not recommend it if you’re looking for a decent call-quality headset. It should be ideal for listening and can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Moreover, for a decent call-quality headset, I recommend a wireless USB headset with a microphone for team meetings, zoom meetings, or other professional virtual meetings or conference calls.

And these can be used for other regular uses as well such as phone calls, watching videos/TV, music/podcast listening, working from home, etc.

Battery Life

The wireless battery life of these headphones is great, lasting over 48 hours continuously! Although the company claims they can run for 65-70 hours, I managed to get 48 hours, which is still pretty good. This means you can easily get 7 working days on a single full charge. So, if you are looking for a reliable wireless headset, I highly recommend this one.

BERIBES headphones are often recommended for beginner listeners looking for cheap wireless headphones with excellent sound and long-lasting battery life but microphone and noise cancellation are unimportant! So, in this case, this is a priority, otherwise, look for a high-quality noise-cancelling headset with a higher price. For example, audiophile wireless headphones are recommended for hi-fi Bluetooth listening or planar magnetic headphones for an immersive video gaming experience.
